SARAH'S INSPO PICK
"The gray rainy days are always the perfect reminder to pause and have a slower kind of day. Especially when we don’t realize we need one. Wishing you one of those days. To wake up a little later to be a little kinder to ourselves and to get caught up on the things we really want to do and don’t feel like we have to do. Here’s to starting the week balanced and calm. Take some time for you. To breathe. To write, read, run errands. To talk to a friend and catch up. To breathe again. To not get overwhelmed at what needs to get done in the week ahead. To go do something you’ve wanted to do all week but haven’t had the time. Keep breathing. Eat the morning bun you’ve been thinking about. The calories are there but so is the happiness it brings you get while eating it and I bet you’ll savor every bite, I know I do. Go to the cute store or charming coffee shop that makes you happy. Buy the thing you saw in the store. Stay in bed all day. Take a bath. No pressure. Take away all the pressure. Anything YOU want. Try to do that today. For you. For tomorrow, so you feel fuller than if you started the week without it. My day consists of iced coffee and nesting around my apartment and editing photos from months ago because I haven’t gotten to it. I’m trying to be kind to myself for it. For a day inside, alone and without going out into town and talking to anyone. To a day where I’m writing down ideas and inspiration and thinking about some big things ahead that I can’t wait to share with you but also scare me a little so I’m writing about that too. The candles are lit and the record player is on and I couldn’t be more grateful for this rainy Sunday and soaking it all in. Wishing you that gratitude too and all the things you need today ✨🌿
"A few of my favorite things at one of my absolute favorite places. The muesli is my go to (and so pretty right?!) and I always love to get a side of their crispy sweet and salty bacon to go with it. Their iced coffee makes my heart happy and the hibiscus mimosa is the perfect fizzy addition to an already beautiful spread because ... champagne. Don't worry @citizensofchelsea I've already calculated the number of times I can possibly come in before departing and it's still in the double digits so we're good."
"Say it. Share it. Spread it. Tell the people you love the things you love about them. The things that they do to inspire you, encourage you and that you're grateful for. Ruthie Lindsey is a daily inspiration to me and this resonated because we have a chance to really do some good every single day just by speaking not by donating a lot of money or getting someone a fancy gift but by our words. They matter and one persons kindness and small compliment could change a persons day or even life. So, start right now and tag someone and say something to them you've been wanting to. Safe space below to tag and compliment away! Or tell them privately.... just tell them"
"A total eclipse of the pop with @kingofpopsgvl's special eclipse pop for today's #yeahthateclipse! A darker blackberry pop surrounded by lighter frozen lemonade that reveals itself and that pretty color as it melts! Check out their Instagram today to see where they'll be serving these up these to celebrate"
